I am Ellen Wetherbee and am faculty member in Quinnipiac University’s Physical Therapy Program. I became interested in contributing to a capstone project which was directed toward cancer survivors based on inspiration from my oncologist. When I completed my treatment, he challenged me to do something that would help me “make sense” of my experience. The students and my colleague, Erin Lampron, who are all passionate about doing something for cancer survivors, plunged into this effort. I am grateful to all of them for giving me the opportunity work with them on this. I have been in awe of their passion, diligence, and good humor throughout this capstone project.
